Objectives

After working on this module, you will be able to:

Identify the Cashiering Process;

Explain the variour functions the Point of Sale(PSO) terminal can perform; and

Interpret systems regarding refunds/ exchange, loyalty programmes. discounts offered, stock outs, etc.

Assignment 1

Describe the Cashiering process, including the various functions possible on the Point of Sale (POS) terminal, the variours tendres that can be accepted and administrative functions available on the POS like retunns and refunds, Voids Suspensions, reprints, loyalty Programme functions etc.

i) Cashiering process & variours functions on POS terminal:

a) Describe your observations: We used computer billing in our store so we used to take money after we bill is hand and the cash point crate the bill to the customer will take cash form the customers on the counter of store. Firstly we asked the customer that in which type they want to give money cash in hand or online. Then what's the customers answer we accept and give the proper bill.

b) Issues and Suggestions: we have only one mam who give bill or sitting on counter so sometime people/ customer were waiting on the cash counter for take his/her bill we should hire one more mam for sitting in the counters.

2) Tendres accepted on POS:

a) Describe your observations: we have also lots of tendres many contractors are come and if they have retail shops than buy lots of products in bulk. And sometimes we faced the contractors fir build our new branch and they helps us and tells that which area is best for publishing our new branch because our new branch because we are a great brand max fashion and it is very important to planted a beautiful area for max fashion.

b) Issues and Suggestions: If our any customer is very hurry and they want to go outside very quickly and they have some products and he/she is standing in the line of cash- counter so, we give some special help for her and give them his bill and take money quickly/

3) Administrative functions available on POS:

a) Describe your observations: Administrative functions are available on POS (point of Selling). It's functions perform by the management level. To show correct the data base of the store. To present make th4e collection of the data. How the saving done or items is sold saving done or items is sold more into the store and lots of data like this collection by them. To show or perform the proper plans or ways to how works what we have to fill in we have to works and lots of like this it's help to perform better income in the stores.

b) Issues and Suggestions: Administrative functions available on POS(Point of Selling) is important because the retail management saves time and answer the customer easily locate their desired merchandising and return home satisfied. An effective management avoids unneeccessary choose at the store. Necessary labels must be put on the shelves for the customers to locate the merchandise on their own.
